What if this path was lined with all the people you had felt wronged you or things in life that repulsed you?
Would you be able to recognize that everything here is all a part of God? A part of you?
Would you happily go meet your maker knowing that you’d be spending eternity in a place where these people and things were also loved and made by the same creator as yourself?
What if the path for your heavenly soul & spirit’s eternal rest meant letting go of long held beliefs?
Would you turn and go another way?
Just for a minute, imagine this were true, but on just the other side of all of that was the very best of everything, like a buffet of all your favorite foods, with the friends and family you love the most in the atmosphere that has always made you the happiest. There you could travel endlessly to any destination, eat and stay your perfect weight, run, jump, and even fly with zero pain.
You’d have to go through all kinds of crap, pain, misery, and sadness just to get to the end of that path and then feel all of the love and abundance that is the truth of “heaven”.
Why? I guess because we all have to spiritually grow up in this scenario.
I kind of think that is what life is. This IS the path, and we’ve all been duped. We are all on this path, and when we turn away from each other for whatever reason, we are turning away from our creator and a path that leads to better & bigger things than we could ever imagine.
